_____
For the first time in eleven years, Aerosmith will release an album of original material with Music From Another Dimension. The set will be out on Columbia on November 6.
Aerosmith's last album of original material was 2001's Just Push Play. They also released the blues cover album Honkin' on Bobo in 2004.
The album is produced by Jack Douglas who previously helmed their albums Toys in the Attic, Rocks and Honkin' on Bobo, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry and was recorded in Los Angeles and their studio in Massachusetts.
Joe Perry told Billboard, "This record is different from the recent past, say the last 20 years, where everybody is getting in the studio and throwing down their songs. This record is a lot more band-written stuff than there has been in the recent past."
The first two singles were released simultaneously this week with What Could Have Been Love going to hot AC and Lover A Lot to rock, active rock and classic rock stations.
A deluxe edition will also be released with four live performances, exclusive interviews with all members of the band and three bonus tracks.
